Birthday 17.

Oh dear, I've turned 17 today! Hope no one expects maturity from me! : P T'was a lovely day however. A lovely quiet birthday all relaxed and jolly with my mom and brother and some pastries. My mom has bought me many flowers of multiple colors, so I'm oh so glad :)

I'm happy to be a cancerian.
I'm quite a crab sometimes, a very imaginative one.

Thank God for another year of life! Because it's beautiful. And for all his presents he gives to me in smiles and joy. And the painful bits of life to learn, heal, and store in your memory, stacked with experience. And the luxury of laughter.

Thanks God for my beautiful family and their vast amounts of love they replentish for me every day. Thanks for my mother, I love her so very much more than life. Its because of her that I've learned what peace is.

Love is here to stay and for all to take and vibrate in vibes of joy back and forth.

La paz se conquista al filo del machete....Lo dijo Antonio Maceo y lo ratifico yo....Felices 17...a pesar de que te gustan los numeros con "bolitas",transita por estos 12 meses de tus seventeen, igual que la tierra por la mañana.

FLEETWOOD MAC EDGE OF SEVENTEEN LYRICS

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Whoo... whoo... whoo...
Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo

And the days go by...
Like a strand in the wind...
In the web that is my own...
I begin again
Said to my friend, baby...
Nothin else mattered

He was no more... than a baby then
Well he... seemed broken hearted...
Something within him
But the moment... that I first laid...
Eyes... on... him... all alone...
On the edge of... seventeen

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo...
Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Said ooo baby... ooo... said ooo

Well I went today... maybe I will go again...
Tomorrow
Yea yea well the music there well it was hauntingly...
Familiar
Well I see you doing...
What I try to do for me
With the words from a poet...
And a voice from a choir
And a melody... nothing else mattered

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo

The clouds... never expect it...
When it rains
But the sea changes color...
But the sea...
Does not change
And so... with the slow... graceful flow...
Of age
I went forth... with an age old...
Desire... to please
On the edge of... seventeen

Oooooooooaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo

Well then suddenly...
There was no one... left standing
In the hall... yeah yeah...
In a flood of tears
That no one really ever heard fall at all
Well I went searchin for an answer...
Up the stairs... and down the hall
Not to find an answer...
Just to hear the call
Of a nightbird... singing...
Come away...

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo... baby ooo... said ooo

Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo... baby ooo... said ooo

Well I hear you in the morning...
And I hear you...
At nightfall...
Sometimes to be near you...
Is to be unable... to hear you...
My love...
Im a few years older than you...
My love

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like shes singing...
Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo

hello friend:} hope you had a peechy birthday and i hope nature is still blosseming inside of you! it always seems to be aha. well anyway i must say i came here with a motive, to email you (but i have utterly no idea how too!) so i will just say it here and hope you read it. Theres a band i think you should download i think you'd really apriciate them. There entire system of creating music is to create this vast ambient landscape of sounds and especialy feelings. There called 'animal collective' (what a waste of time this would be if you already know of them :} ). well anyway id recommend an albums called 'feels' to you, its a good album to seed a love for this band, if you like it you can branch out. there work is so vast! there just so much to listen too
so yeah give it a try and tell me what you think, theres one song in particular that is just beautiful its called 'loch raven'.
i couldent explain to you how much this band means to me there truely magical (oh and im sorry to continue blabbing on but you should give the lyrics to loch raven a read, there so lovely)

stay well!

I Made It Through The Rain
Barry Manilow

We dreamers have our ways
Of facing rainy days
And somehow we survive

We keep the feelings warm
Protect them from the storm
Until our time arrives

Then one day the sun appears
And we come shining through those lonely years

I made it through the rain
I kept my world protected
I made it throught the rain
I kept my point of view
I made it through the rain
And found myself respected
By the others who
Got rained on too
And made it through

When friends are hard to find
And life seems so unkind
Sometimes you feel so afraid

Just aim beyond the clouds
And rise above the crowds
And start your own parade

'Cause when I chased my fears away
That's when I knew that I could finally say

I made it through the rain
I kept my world protected
I made it throught the rain
I kept my point of view
I made it through the rain
And found myself respected
By the others who
Got rained on too
And made it through

Te dedico esta cancion de Barry Manilow, porque es un himno a la vida...como dijera silvio,te convido a creerme cuando digo FUTURO

"Love Is Always Seventeen" by David Gates

Seventeen -- It's been a while since I've been seventeen
And the years since have been mighty lean
But there's no use complainin'
Forty-two--has a way of creeping up on you
And my chances left are gettin' few
But there's till time remainin'

I've been waiting for someone
Who loves the way I do
And girl I've got my fingers crossed
In hopes it might be you...
Twenty-one...that's how many different jobs I've done
I remember quittin' every one
With no hesitatin'
And thirty-three... that's how many women left on me
I don't have too good a history
But I don't mind waitin'...
Cause it really doesn't matter
How many years you've seen
Cause Love is Always Seventeen
Wonder if you'll be the one
To end this lonesome heart
'Cause girl I've got a lot to give
And I'd sure like to start.
