Cottage Mushrooms!

This past week I was at a cottage with my fam in a most magical place called Parry Sound. The cottage was facing the lake and tons of greenery and strange vegetation that grows over rocks! I was excited to go the whole time because I went there certain that I would find some fairies among all the nature! Saddly, I didn't encounter any fairies in my steps, or maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough, but I was fourtunate enough to run into some mushrooms that made me very satisfyed at their sight. I love happy mushrooms! Here are the ones I was able to take pictures of :)

New found art!

Hello, I am glad to confess I'm a looser and I waste a huge load'a time looking for things on google when I step into those long periods of "I have no life". Today just outa curiosity I typed something new into "google images" (as I do almost everyday of me life), I can't recall what word it was but I came across a very grotesque but colorful picture, and thus discovered a trippy new atrist, his name is Alex Pardee. The guy, man rather is currently blowing my mind with his violent art! I am so excited, I love it when I can find artwork that gloriously rips my brains out, and this man's work has done just that to me. He's known most for making the album artwork for The Used's love and death cd. This man is uber genius. I'm ever greatful that google exsists, it's sometimes too groovy to be true. Here I go forth to a new obbsession!!!

Horray to this! Here's some of his work:

Quirky

Our first talk was so very messy

Like crumbly apple caramel pie

Quirky as we acted, we were so interested

Mind you, it satisfied

the plunging butterflies

In my belly

Our telephone conversations were dim and awkward,

And coward as ever

Dare I say I still like you c'ause you're clever?

Saddly not at dating

But I appressiate your shy, cute

Tremor

Look at us holding hands

Your whole arm span is shakig

And mine, stiff as a nest

Dare I say I might have pretended

To enjoy the walk we took through the forest

But, do know

That I do adore

Your feeble, shy strokes on my skin

And I'm aware that you mean to do more

It just needs much more better timing

That's all,

It'll take a marathon of days

Before we both feel at home

But I'm glad we're on an anti-instant

Path of love.

Tripster Hipsters.

Hippies were the hope of the 1960's and were extreme huggers while guns were being fired off in Vietnam. Ever since I started listening to classic rock (especially my love, Jimi Hendrix) and blues and folk music, I've been allowing my self to sink into understanding the culture at the time of freedom and love. Like bohemian gypsies, hippies were fearless in their trippiest minds and did drugs to feel at higher peaks than life (this is not an aspect of them I'll adore, but much open minded music was made thanks to the drugs :D)
They held mental nomadic passports as they traveled aways in their dreamy-painted volkswagon camper vans and shared their music and love everywhere!

To me hippies make me smile, because they do and did what everyone else fears and feared, they defyed the demanding mainstream by keeping together with love as the only glue, isntead of money and power.
I think they also dissed the american dream most excellently! Surely if all the world was hippie then well, the truth is we wouldn't get much done, but we could easily avoid a third world war if love was chosen over power. Either way I think we'd respect nature so much as hippies that the faires would come out and mingle with the de-greed-afied human beings!
Here are some awesome pictures of hippies that slap me with joy and lift me from reality:

Traces of Unicorn magic exists in gum

One of my friends found a most excellent contraption, she being magical herself in so many unexplicable ways somehow came across a pack of "Freakin' Magical Unicorn Gum". My reaction smile upon opening the unbelievable pack was huge. Ya know you think magical things all the time but you're half uber surprised and a brighter half uber happy upon recieving them, and so this really got to me in a most mysteriusly delightful way. The pack suggests I was to shit sunshine just like unicorns, but that lovely detail shall remain confidential. Enjoy!
